As an entity of the Southern Baptist Convention, it is the policy of our office to only provide our career services to SBC churches. This is intended to provide clarity and predictability for all parties involved. Our office does not limit our services based on ecclesiology, doctrine, philosophy, marketing, or methodology within the SBC. Our decision to provide services only to SBC organizations is not to communicate that non-SBC organizations are not value added to Kingdom work or any other type of negative characterization. It is simply a clear dividing line that all parties can recognize, and it protects our seminary from potentially supporting ministries out of step with Southern Baptist beliefs. As a Southern Baptist entity, we are beholding to our SBC churches, a responsibility and task that we take with great seriousness and concern. Therefore, we attempt as best we can to represent the SBC in a manner that is accurate and most helpful.
