Worship Ministry Summer Internship
Summer 2027 • 10 Weeks • 20 Hours/Week • Paid Position
Cumming, Georgia
About First Baptist Church Cumming
First Baptist Church Cumming exists to help people discover and deepen a saving relationship with Jesus — gathering around God’s Word, giving our time, talent, and treasure, and going on mission to the world.
Located just north of Atlanta in Cumming, Georgia, we gather for three services each Sunday at 8:45 AM, 10:00 AM, and 11:15 AM, with approximately 1,700–1,800 people attending across those services on a typical weekend.
Our worship ministry blends a large choir and orchestra with a modern band, serving a growing, multi-generational congregation.
Each summer, we invite college students pursuing degrees in worship, music, or ministry-related fields to spend a summer immersed in the full life of this worship ministry.
Interns don’t just observe — they plan, rehearse, lead, and serve alongside our staff and volunteer teams, gaining hands-on experience that translates directly into their academic and career journey.
