Qualifications

1. Demonstrate a clear and genuine call to pastoral ministry.
2. Have a strong personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a commitment to prayer and the authority of Scripture.
3. Agree with and faithfully teach the Baptist Faith and Message 2000.
4. Meet the biblical qualifications for pastoral leadership described in 1 Timothy 3:1–7 and Titus 1:5–9.
5. Possess strong biblical knowledge and the ability to communicate Scripture clearly and practically.
6. Demonstrate good character, integrity, compassion, humility, and a servant’s heart.
7. Have a genuine love for people and a desire to minister to individuals and families of all ages.
8. Be able to work effectively with church leadership and volunteers.
9. Have a heart for evangelism, discipleship, missions, and community outreach.
10. Previous pastoral or ministry experience is preferred, but we are willing to consider candidates whose gifts and calling demonstrate strong potential for pastoral ministry.
11. Seminary or Bible college education is preferred but may not be required depending on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
