Pastor for First Baptist Church Charleston

FBC Charleston is seeking and praying for a pastor. Full time or bi-vocational applicants will be considered. We are a very giving and prayerful Church, asking God to send us a leader to direct us in Bible Study and Discipleship. Our community needs this Church to be a beacon within the community to the lost and needy. Age of applicant not important. We are seeking a pastor with a minimum of a bachelors degree or equivalent experience. Seminary training credits or completion is a plus. We understand that we are called to be workers and servants of God. We pray for the man to lead us and that God is calling upon this man to come to Charleston. We have regular Sunday Service at 9:00am, Sunday School 10:15am, Young Adult Bible Study Tuesdays at 6:00pm, Wed Night Prayer Meeting and Bible Stady 5:30pm. We often participate in activities at the local nursing home, have drive-thru prayer on Tuesday mornings, support the local Baptist Assn kids camp in our area, participate in Operation Christmas Child, and sponsor youth to Fuge camp. Adding kids, youth, and young adults to our Church is a high priority. We patiently wait for a response and than you for your time and consideration.
